What is Map of Beers?
Map of Beers is a community-driven platform that helps you find beer prices at stores, bars, and restaurants near you. Users submit and verify prices, creating a crowdsourced database of beer availability and pricing.
Is Map of Beers free to use?
Yes! Map of Beers is completely free for everyone. No subscriptions, no hidden fees.
What areas does Map of Beers cover?
We're currently focused on Austin, TX. As we grow, we'll expand to more cities across Texas and beyond!
Using the Site
Do I need an account to use Map of Beers?
You can browse and search without an account, but you'll need to create a free account to submit prices, report out-of-stock beers, or save your favorite beers.
How do I submit a beer price?
Click on any store marker on the map, then click "Add Beer Price". You can add new beers or update existing prices. We verify you're near the store to prevent fake submissions.
Why do you need my location?
We use your location only when you submit a price to verify you're actually at the store. This prevents competitors from submitting fake prices. Your location is never stored or tracked.
How do I report a beer as out of stock?
When viewing a store's inventory, select the beer and click "Report Out of Stock". After 3 reports from different users, the beer will be hidden from the map.

Privacy & Data
What data do you collect?
We only collect: your email (for account), username, and beer price submissions. We never store your location or track your movements.
How do you prevent fake prices?
We verify your location when you submit prices, require accounts for submissions, and use community reporting to catch inaccuracies.
Can I delete my account?
Yes! Contact us at support@mapofbeers.com and we'll delete your account and data.
